Privacy Policy
Summary
SarathiOS is a Decision Operating System for founders. We collect only the data needed to evaluate a decision, operate your account, and contact you about the product. We do not sell data, and we do not show ads.
What we collect
- Decisions you evaluate. Decision text you type into the evaluator is processed to return a risk score. On the marketing site (sarathios.com), this data lives only in your browser (
localStorage) and is never sent to us. Inside the product (os.sarathios.com), decision history is stored against your account so you can come back to it. - Account & contact submissions. When you sign up or contact us, we collect: your name, work email, and any optional details you share (company, decision text). We use this to operate your account, reply to you, and improve the product.
- Basic analytics. We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-respecting service that does not use cookies or fingerprinting, and does not collect personal data.
- Payment data (for paid plans). Card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
What we do not collect
- Tracking cookies, ad pixels, or third-party trackers.
- Sensitive personal categories (health, religion, political opinions, etc.).
- Anything from your browser beyond what you actively submit.
How we use it
- To run, debug, and improve the decision-evaluation product.
- To respond to your messages and operate your subscription.
- To aggregate anonymous findings (e.g. "X% of decisions are flagged high risk"). Aggregates are never tied back to an individual.
Where it lives
Form submissions are stored with a managed database provider and reviewed manually. Decision text you enter into the public demo stays in your browser unless you submit it.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or ask us to correct it at any time. Email hello@sarathios.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU/UK, the lawful basis for processing your data is your consent (when you signed up or messaged us) and our legitimate interest in operating the product. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Changes
We will post material changes here with an updated date. For substantive changes, we will also email anyone with an active account.
